I would take the 6.5Grendel before the 6.8 or .308, and have. Great bc bullets for the long range shots with very good performance and low recoil. 6.5 Creedmoor isnā€™t the new ā€œhotnessā€, itā€™s here to stay and for a reason.
If building for shtf, .308 all day/all the way. Iā€™m keeping an eye on the Ruger SFAR for this reason, but 6.5ā€™s have their place for hunting/carrying/recoil.

Sfars are junk, at this time. No comment on 6.5 stuff, don't run it, no interest
