6.8 SPC II in an AR 15 vs .308 in an AR 10

We need a range report on that Ruger brother!

If its like most of the other sfars so far the range report is as follows.. "it didnt work, going back to ruger". Seriously, the reliability thus far has been ABYSMAL. When they finally get it running right itll be a neat rifle

I would take the 6.5Grendel before the 6.8 or .308, and have. Great bc bullets for the long range shots with very good performance and low recoil. 6.5 Creedmoor isn’t the new “hotness”, it’s here to stay and for a reason.
If building for shtf, .308 all day/all the way. I’m keeping an eye on the Ruger SFAR for this reason, but 6.5’s have their place for hunting/carrying/recoil.

Sfars are junk, at this time. No comment on 6.5 stuff, don't run it, no interest
