Re-privatize that bia.

It is foolish to think that if the government doesn't do something, it won't get done. A private travel security industry would be much more flexible and innovative. It is simply too important of a job to entrust to the government.

Can someone please explain to me in the HELL don't the airlines pay for their own security? They were the ones that could not retain control of their property from the terrorists. Why does the American taxpayer have to foot the bill to guard their assets? If they cannot protect their own property then they shouldn't be allowed to fly at all.

Nights of columbus know that nobody wants these people out of my way at the airport more than I do but I doubt it's true. I'm sick of taking off my boots and having some guy fondle me because I have a shiny thread on my shirt.

Oh yea and sick and tired of them trying to steal my GD SUNGLASSES!!!

You don't fly often do you? Air travel is already outrageously expensive adding the security in the mix is both a liability and cost issue. The airline do not want the liability of security on their shoulders and I don't blame them one bit

where does the money come from to fund TSA? Is it from ticket sales, or do the tax payers foot the bill?
