agreed. A lot of people started shooting the 17hmr when 22wm got hard to find and realized that it does as good a job (or dare I say better) than the 22wmr on small game. I can see the HM2 doing the same thing. it's a great little round.

Would love to have at least two. they're great on rabbits and snakes too.

The advantage is, that it's a very flat shooting caliber versus a 22LR, somewhat like a 17HMR in trajectory. But, it isn't as hard on small critters as the 17HMR is, which tends to blow huge holes in squirrels and other similar sized game. Pretty much, if I can see it I can hit it.
