If they make Darryl gay I will be pissed. What does that add to the show? Not a dang thing. They should leave him the way he is. I don't understand why Hollywood has to shove gays down our throats. I know that some of you don't care and that's cool, but it bothers me. It doesn't do anything for the character of Darryl to make him gay.

True... poor phrase. But I do feel it is true that Hollywood and politics have added homosexuality to the list of "PC groups" that must be included in as many TV shows as possible to spread diversity and tolerance.


I also do not see that it would enhance the show at all to "turn" Darryl gay. Personally. However, I can see where they would like to challenge the stereotypes and I have little doubt many who watch the show who are homosexual would love it. For Hollyweird, it's all about making a statement. A politically correct statement, that is.

Honestly... ANY kinda love from ANYBODY would get kinda icky, from my perspective. We're pretty spoiled, I'll admit, but I'll be damned if I know how most of the world reproduced outside of this century in this country.

I haven't kept up with the show for a while now. This doesn't surprise me one bit, though. Merle knew about Darryl all along.
