I'm predicting Andrea, the governor, hersell, Judith, and Merle die in the finale.

Someone has been reading the books ;)

That said, her chained up in the "workshop" is strikingly similar to how the Gov had Michonne chained up in the book, where he proceeded to do, ehem, highly unspeakable things to her. I thought they had kind of glazed over it with the bit with Maggie, but yeah, this has the potential to get pretty horrible, heh.

I'm damn curious, that's for sure.

How are the books? I have been wanting to jump in, and I hear they are great. Being a Marvel fan, I am having a hard time with the thought of joining the Image fan base.

Quite different, but very good. I've currently read the first compendium (8 chapters), which ends with the prison segment of the story.

Honestly, they're two different stories based on the same world/genre. For me, half the fun is seeing where they overlap.

I have been thinking of jumping into the comics for sometime now. My hangup, as discussed with my friend who enjoys the show, is we have really liked watching the show and not knowing anything about it. It is easier to enjoy without having something to compare it to. I love comics, however, and perhaps it is time to take the plunge, if only for the art, which I hear is good.

In truth, it hasn't spoiled anything for me. The characters are "based" on the book, but they're very different. Primarily, the "what happens to whom" part is extremely different.

As a minor comparison (I don't believe this is any kind of major spoiler) during the prison part of the story arc, Dale is alive but only has one foot, where as in the show, he's dead and Hershel is the one on crutches.

I especialy enjoyed the Governors super human tracking abilities while chasing Andrea. He found her in the woods, found her in the village, found her in the one particular building she was hiding in, then found her at the prison gate. I wouldn't want to F@#$ with him. She should have stuck him when she had the chance.
