That's the truth, all the sympathy and empathy and understanding is for the perp. When the friends and family want a little payback they are the monsters. No body wants to know what the embalmer chick has been through, maybe she was raped, maybe her kid was molested, so she gives the guy a scrotum chew, big deal, he's already dead, the only thing she did wrong is leave a witness, don't do that, take it to the grave with ya, and sleep tight.
