Anyone owned both or at least shot both and had a preference?

I like the idea of the Hellcat's capacity and not having to worry about reliability of aftermarket mags in the G48. That and my overall cost will be lower considering there are some bundle deals out there. All that being said I always like glocks and it's been over 15 years since I owned a Springfield.

On lay it on me....

I really like my Hellcat. The closest thing to a Glock 48 that I've shot was a 43, which I sold. I'm a lefty and under recoil my hand would bump the mag release and drop the mag just enough that it wouldn't feed. I've also had Shields in .40 and 9mm that I dumped because I couldn't shoot them well.

Nice! I have an old shield I'm wanting to upgrade from.

If the Hellcat didn't work out my next pistol to try was going to be the P365, but I'd totally buy the Hellcat again. I bought mine used (the regular model, wanted the one with the factory comp but couldn't find one in stock) and added the threaded barrel and compensator. Once Streamlight released the Hellcat-specific TLR-7 Sub I got that and had KT Mech make me a holster for it.
