Listening to your gut when it comes to a firearm transaction is not profiling. Dude had gangbanger written all over his face. Well, sorta all over.

Profiling is not illegal. Everyone does it every single day. You may not want to admit but you do it. It's part of the collective experiences of life. If those three guys walked up to my table I'd politely refuse their cash. I was in OAS a few years back when a wannabe gangbanger came in and asked if he could buy just 10 9mm rounds. They shoulda refused the sell. Instead they sold him a whole box. Left there just SMDH.

Sounds to me like the cops were profiling by following them until they had an excuse to pull them over.

PC crowd may not like it, but profiling works
they were recognized as known gang members. the officer remembered the tattoo as someone he had dealt with and looked him up to confirm he was a felon.

I know retired officers that will recognize people they arrested 30 years ago and can tell you what kinda of car the guy was driving and the color shirt he was wearing.when you put turds in jail for aliving it pays to have a good memory

I'm a dealer, and refused to even run a background check on a group of individuals at this same show. (not these guys) I didn't like the conversation, the body language, plus it became unclear to me who really was going to own the gun. It had straw purchase written all over it. Naturally they got all defensive and huffy about it, but too bad. It's my business and my right to make that call. Sometimes...........it just don't feel right.
