I ran across a website selling a conversion kits to make a 10/22 look just like one of the two famous Thompson sub-machine guns. I have always wanted a Tommy Gun but never wanted to spend the money and mess with the tax stamp. The conversion kits run about $300 each. They appear to be quality kits but I am curious if anyone has one of these or has actually seen one. I'd like to know a little more about them before I "bite the bullet".
