Thoughts on this scope. I'm considering this scope for my 700 build. Using the Rapid Z 600 Reticle. The reviews I'm seeing are showing this a good scope for the money.

What's the rifle's build specs, use, purpose?
Remington 700 PSS .308.
Going to be a multipurpose rifle. Hunting/ target. No intentions of banging steel at 1k yds. I longest shot expected is stretching it out on the High Power range at OKCGC.
Did some research and for my needs with this rifle and scope I will not be needing a tapered base.

I've had one for a few years. It is bright and crisp. Big improvement over my Leupold VX3 and others.
Yeah, it's about perfect for that. Very good scope at a pretty good price. I'd say go for it!
