If you have a concealed carry license shouldn't that be the only background check required? Private transactions amongst CCL holders should be acceptable but these guys won't go there, not enough control for them.

They need to enforce whats on the books, and not try to outlaw Private FTF sales. Coburn is wanting to outlaw private FTF sales.

That he's working WITH Schumer to enact UBC's, which will undoubtedly infringe on property rights, regardless of whether there's any record keeping enacted at this time with it. He also wants Dr.'s to have the ability to report patients they feel shouldn't be allowed to complete a firearm purchase, and have protections in place for them against legal actions when they do.

I wholeheartedly with 90% of what Coburn does, but the other 10%? He's a complete moonbat.
