Time to Call Coburns Office, he's lost his mind

Coburn is trying to say they aren't going to create a registry... but he is working with them to expand background checks. Which we ALL know is just the precursor to creating a registry. So he's turning a blind eye to the future, all the while laying the groundwork for the gun-grabbers of the future.

I have always had my doubts about Coburn, ever since I saw him at a Town Hall meeting on Obamacare. He is just another politician.... a CAREER politician, which is exactly what our problem IS in the this country.

Because they forget their place in the grand scheme of things. I would propose that a Constitutional review be required for every bill introduced on Capitol Hill, before they're even allowed to go to committee.

I just got off the phone with his office and they say he isn't for expanded background checks contrary to what has been reported. The lady that answered the phone said he isn't working with democrats on a new system.

I don't know what to believe now. Is he or isn't he? Is his office lying, lol.

I remember earlier that the media reported the NRA was working with this group to bring about universal background checks which the NRA quickly denied. Just keep up the pressure and remember you can't trust anything the media or unnamed "insiders" say.

I have called him Don Quixote Coburn for a long time. He sat on the Judiciary Committee when Holder was confirmed and was in a position to place a hold on his nomination. There were more than enough questions to hold it up. But instead he tilts at windmills, the budget to which no one pays any real attention to what he says. Like a previous poster, I have alwys been leary of him feeling he would sell out, unlike Imhoff who will not compromise a core position.
