This lil sumbich right here for the win. Got one in each room and they never miss a beat whether its 120 or -5 outside. Highly recommended.

One in each room?? How many do you have, and what’s your electric bill like per month?

Well 1 register in each room (they call them head units, I think). Anyway, the part that blows air. Our house called for 4 tons total in unit size. I went with 5 just to be safe. The living room has a single 2 ton dedicated unit. The kids room share a 2 ton unit each having 1 register each. Master bedroom has a 1 ton unit dedicated to it. On our electric bill, I have always felt was too high. I think I've even used the term price gouging a couple times. Typically in the hottest part of summer, our bill would be around 700ish. Our old ac couldn't keep up. When we got these, it calmed down to about 500ish. Now in the winter, our last bill was 250ish.

They're quite efficient but here's something much cheaper and more efficient. I put one in my addition of 450ft/2 and it both heats and cools both quite well, and I noticed little to no increase in electric bills. Nice thing is its only $599, you can install it yourself, I did, and if it quits, replace it for the same. I've been running mine for 2 years with no problems. They also make a larger one that cools/heats 1450 ft/2 and its only $849.

I would have a cow if my summer central AC bill for 2400 sf was over $250! It’s generally between $175-200. Winter, I use natural gas, and that’s typically $100-150 during the coldest month.

Used to be for us too. 2 years ago, the highest it would ever get was 500ish. We also have a 40x60 shop and a livestock barn with show animals. They are spoiled in the barn. But next year, mid 700s and I wasn't allowed to say a word to them about it. Kinda weird.
