For a 2006 Ford F350 dually. 245/75R17.

I've got decent local prices for Cooper Discoverers ($1,235 mounted & balanced) and Goodrich T/A (1,340).

I'm not brand loyal, and I don't buy tires often enough to have a lot of knowledge here. The truck was pulling our rig, but we're downsizing that. Don't do much of any off-road work, although the last half-mile to the house is dirt/gravel. I'm leaning toward the Coopers to save $100. Any thoughts?

The las two sets on my work truck have been BFG AT K/O's. They have been good tires both on and off road. They have lasted about 50k per set. They are expensive, but the company pays for them.

That being said, I have heard good things about the Coopers. That is what I intend to put on my personal truck, next time around. Plus, they are one of the last American made tires. I day save a few bucks and buy American.
