To the Trappers...

I have zero experience trapping.
I have seen leg snare traps available for hogs - do they work? How?

I know pen traps are effective, I just don't have that option right now.
Opinions?

Well I haven't used it, because snares are illegal in Oklahoma, so I wouldn't know effectiveness.

My first hand accounts of catching hogs individually (box traps) have taught me that the rest of the herd quickly becomes educated while only eliminating a few hogs. I would rather take a month to get a pen trap set up and catch the herd rather then spending a month trapping a few individual hogs and then have the rest of the herd educated.
