Trade for Big Bores?

Good luck with your quest. I like big bore stuff too. And dearly want a No 1 in 470 NE.

I got into H&R/NEF Handi rifles years ago for the same reason. I have several big bores in them. Surprisingly the hardest hitting is one in 500 S&W.

Did you ever get one of those handi rifles in a 460 SW? If so does is it very accurate?

Not familiar with it.

I’m guessing it’s a ream job or did they actually make one in that caliber?

Back in the day I moderated the H&R forum on Greybeard Outdoors forum. They were reaming Handi’s out in all kinds of calibers.

Still have a 35 Rem & a 7.62 barrel I bought to experiment with and never got around to it.

eta: the thing I liked about the Handi platform was for a handloader they can be very very accurate. I have a Handi Ultra in .223 that is capable of cloverleafs at 200 yards with the right handload.
