They had a guy on either channel 4 or 5 on this morning's news that thinks he Dirty Harry. He was running around the hood chasing a robber and firing warning shots with a .50 Desert Eagle. The interview was a hoot.
Saw it. He's lucky the other guy was unarmed. I think he did the right thing IMHO, but a little more caution should have been used.
Interview may have been a hoot but "Dirty Harry" should have been arrested if he really did this. The concept is to neutralize the threat, not chase them through a neighborhood shooting and placing innocent bystanders at risk.
