Yippee finally a small shift from security theater to security substance, it's silly anyway I can get a metal fork inside the "secure" area. I can carry a sturdy high quality pen. I can carry screwdrivers 7" or less in length. I can carry a tactical light with a crenelated striking bezel. Any of the aforementioned items I can carry aboard an aircraft make better improvised weapons than my old timer or uncle henry pocket knife. Yet my pocket knife is far more useful to me for utilitarian purposes.

Hahaha - yay TSA, you fight for those British knife-rules!

I'm grateful either way, I won't lie. Anything is better than what we have now (nothing).

The number of times I've wanted to reach for a pocket knife to cut something when eating in the airport between flights is staggering, lets face a good pocket knife works better on a steak than a flimsy plastic knife.
