Anyone have a recommendation for Honda timing belt changes in the Tulsa area? I can do it myself but may let someone else take care of it.
There is a Honda specialist across the street from Haskell Middle School at 81st and Lynn Lane, but I have never used him. My brother in law recommends him, Ian is his name I believe.

Ian's in Broken Arrow is good. He is very thorough and good but not necessarily cheap. He is a member on this board.

What year Honda and what engine ? Most of the Honda 4-cylinder engines over the past 10 years have used a timing chain that does not need replaced.
I'll tag along on this thread, daughter has a '98 Pathfinder with the 3.0 V6, need to get the belt changed on it, any recommendations on someone honest and reasonable?
Hmm.. this could be good news. It's an '05 Civic LX and honestly, I'm not sure which model number of engine it has in it. I will check though.
I've done the timing belts on 3 of those engines myself and probably need to do my truck again soon. I don't have any recommendations for a local place, however.
I've had several timing belts done by Earl at Four Star Automotive. He's a big supporter of guns and 2A and is a very trustworthy guy. I highly recommend him and his crew.
1.7L has a belt, recommended change at 110K.
