Tulsa Honky Tonk?

Does anyone know where I can find a good old, smokey, honky tonk around tulsa? You know, like worn wood floors, southern rock band playing, old pictures on the wall, country honky tonk type bar?

Haven't had any good ones since I left Texas and I'm gettin homesick for one.

not a bad music venue at all, but its pretty up-class for a "honky tonk".

hanent gone to any for a few years, but cains and tulsa city limits were the only ones i ever knew of to have bands. the rest just had dj's and sucky contemporary country. if you're from texas i'm afraid you'll be very dissappointed in area clubs. Tahlequah has a better red dirt / honkytonk scene, but a lot of bohemian punkster rockabilly dudes at them. music's good though. cains is good when somebody good is there, just have to watch the schedule. also some of the casinos have decent bands from time to time.

Redneck Kuntry and Tumbleweed's were the only two I knew of. Tumbleweed's is in Dawson, that should be all you need to know.

They dance on the very sturdily built tables at Redneck Kuntry.

I think this changed names or owners but not sure.

Redneck country is now called the county line. It's in catoosa I believe. Tumbleweed is good up in Stillwater. All college kids tho. Most of the time it's just a dj up there. Caravan is smokey but has a dj. Never seen a band in there.
