I can't stand Musbarfer!

He is a babbling idiot that gets spoon fed his stats and talking points and it's blatantly obvious that he knows nothing about the teams he is calling. And he tries to come off as some sort of expert when it's clear that he's anything but...

The other is that my beloved Aggies will be sitting at home next Saturday even though they beat both teams playing in the Big XII Championship game and finished in a three way tie with OSU and OU. It all goes back to the turnovers in the OSU game including the fumble when we were in position to kick the winning field goal. Great season none the less considering where we have been for the last ten years.

Yeah, coulda, woulda, shoulda. One could say OU basically gave the game to A&M through miscues and horrible play calling. It goes both ways. Losing 3 games hurt ya, that and a cakewalk non-conference mostly at home.

And one could say A&M BEAT OU through great play that made OU look bad at times? What does our non-conference schedule have to do with anything?

I agree, Last year it was UT fans crying. Sounds like a bunch of 4th graders. But...bu why does OU get to go play and not us....(whiny voice). Change the rules. Just like if OU would have lost last night. I would accept that the reason we didn't go to the big XII is because OU didn't make it happen and not because another team did it. If A&M only lost one game, it wouldn't be in this predicament, would it?

Two things that are very sad to me.....

Brent Musberger is still calling football games on TV. That guy makes so many mistakes and is just blah blah blah. At one point last night he referred to one of the Sooners as a Hoosier. I hate when I turn on a game and he is working it.

Could be worse. Ever hear OU's play by play guy on radio??

You missed my point, I am NOT whining that we are not going. My point is that we let the OSU game get away from us by fumbling the ball away on the winning drive and not stopping OSU. We didn't get the job done. If OU gets the nod like we all think they will then they deserve it. I may not like OU going since I would have preferred A&M or OSU but OU deserves to go. Stop making it sound like I was whining because I wasn't. No get back to Walmart and get yourself another OU hat.

Even though I don't understand the relevancy of your comment, let's compare non-conference schedules....

Texas A&M:
1. Beat Stephen F Austin 48-7 at home, SFA ended the regular season 9-2 and is in the FCS playoffs
2. Beat Louisiana Tech 48-16 at home, LaTech ended the season 5-6
3. Beat Florida International University 27-20 at home, FIU ended the regular season 6-5 and won the Southland Conference
4. Lost to Arkansas on the road in Dallas Cowboys Statdium 17-24. Arkansas finished the regular season with a win against the #5 ranked LSU Tigers and is currently ranked #8. While a loss is a loss it was a good game

Oklahoma:
1. Beat Utah State 31-24 at home, Utah State ended the season 4-7
2. Beat Florida State 47-17 at home, FSU finished the regular season 9-3 and is ranked #20. Great win for OU!
3. Beat Airforce 27-24 at home, AF ended the regular season 8-4 and will be going to a bowl game
4. Beat Cincinnati 31-29 on the road, Cincinnati finished the season 4-7

Summarizing:
Texas A&M's non-conference opponents were a combined 30-15 and A&M outscored them 140-67
OU's non-conference opponents were a combined 25-21 and OU outscored them 136-94

So....don't go throwing rocks at A&M's non-conference schedule when OU's was no better and maybe worse.

Still, the relevancy of you comment is lost.
