I have always thought that anyone who alters evidence or otherwise breaks the rules of evidence should serve out the sentence of the person they are trying to convict.

+1 for MLR but i think they should receive some sort of money for being wrongly convicted. Maybe from the jury or from the DA. I am glad he is free if he didnt do it though.

There is no such thing as the justice system in the US, it is a legal system. For the lawyers, by the lawyers.

Anyone - other than lawyers (and probably not a lot of them either) - who believes that legal and just are the same thing really isn't thinking.
