These last few days have not been indicative of Oklahoma weather.

I'm still using some of my grandpa's and dads gear on a regular basis. My grandpa made his own rods, lures, etc.

Has that pond got any more water in it? Getting pretty low and muddy last time I saw it.

It's really low..........I'm surprised there's anything in it, owner caught trout out of it a couple of weeks ago. It's probably 6' lower than when you saw it last.

March 24th is the first fly tying session at Backwoods Equipment Co. Sessions are 4:00 pm and 7:00pm. Bring fly tying tools if you have them. May start with a modified wooly booger streamer. First fish of the year on one of my own flies. This is the same BC Nymph from the pic above. He ain't big enough for the stringer, but he still counts!
