I just posted the following on thier Facebook page:
Having to disarm myself to ride in a rolling "Gun-Free Zone" makes me extremely uncomfortable. I am so uncomfortable about this rule that I am canceling my Uber account and deleting the Uber app. I will not use your service as long as the rule is in place.

Well... the only circumstance I can see using the service is if I'm drinking. So... it's a moot point.

Concealed is concealed. "Eff you, buddy, just drive."

It's OK, they may not survive anyway....

http://arstechnica.com/business/201...-employees-california-labor-commission-rules/

SFO Superior court ruled they are actually employing people who drive their own cars, on their own schedules, in areas of their choosing......

Picking up thousands of employees, even if only in CA, is more than problematic for their model.

As such it appears a nice effort to bolster their leftist positioning. It ought to be interesting......
