So what do we do?

what we do is become moderate, independant voters. Too many people buy into red vs blue mentality.

Obama is not the problem and Romney is not the answer. We need to find, encourage and support moderate politicians to represent Oklahoma, regaurdless of political affiliation.

We need to move past social issues such as abortion, gay marriage and religious arguments such as to where the ten commandments can be posted or trying to ban sharia law. These things only distract politicians from doing what needs to get done.

People need to accept the fact that the millions of illegal immigrants are never going to be deported or arrested, both are too costly.

We need to understand that taxes need to be increased to maintain our national infastructure.
We need to realize that a national unemployment rate around 10% or more is to be expected until laws can be passed that prohibit companies from shipping jobs overseas or hiring illegals.

Lastly we need to understand that the dollar is backed by nothing of value, it fact our economy is based on a worldwide ponzi scheme that will eventually fail.

Nowhere is it written that the Unites States survives. People really need to understand that, but they've led such a sheltered "no worry" life for a few generations that it's uncomprehensible to them.

If Obama is not the problem, it's only because he's a big part of the problem.

He has exposed the Presidency for what it is - a quasi-kingship. While we weren't looking (actually, while we weren't paying attention), he used the powers at hand, including some he seems to have just made up, to construct this government the way he wants it to be. He has shown that Executive Powers are what he wants them to be and there's nothing Congress can do about it unless the Dems wake up and see what they've been relegated to.

His wholesale appointment of czars, with virtual absolute powers, should have been the first clue, but we were too dumb, fat, happy and complacent. We figured "this won't last long before somebody will fix it". Well, George died.

Romney may not be able to fix it. But, you can bet your ass that Obama can't, and doesn't want to fix it. Vote for Obama, or don't vote. Two ways to cut your own throat.

Until we can affect change within our own state we're stuck with Red or Blue. Getting an independent on the ballot is almost impossible. There is more to it than that, though. There have been very good candidates who attempted to run in both parties, only to be driven into the ground by the media and complacent sweep voting constituents. Complacency and apathy will be our downfall.

What do we do? Continue to vote, speak out to our representatives telling them this has gone far enough and that they must work toward change as they are representing us, and most of all we must be prepared.

I've see first hand the proverbial "sinking ship" hold on far longer than what appeared possible, ignoring the many opportunities that came along which could have stopped the inevitable, only to see it go slowly under. Our current administrations ostrich mentality of sticking their head in the sand and not doing anything is yet another example. Let's extend everything until after the election so it's possibly someone else's problem.

The current reps appear to only want money, power, and the freedom to do whatever they want. Not all, but the majority. Until the people make that the minority, we're subject to failure, and if that's not soon we're going to watch from the bow of the titanic as we go under.

This country will continue to degrade until the dollar ponsi scheme collapses. Then the "free stuff" people will riot, loot and burn their own cities down(hence the continual arming of Homeland Secuirty and FEMA Camps). At that point the country will be consolidated under a marxist UN controlled gov't with a UN/World Bank mandated currency that effectively steals most of your wealth. Gold was confiscated once before in this country, people were given new "Federal Reserve Notes", the gov't kept the gold, and 3 months later gold was worth double what it was when they stole it from the public. The new UN World Bank Currency will effectively do the same thing, steal your wealth.

The only hope I see for us in Oklahoma is for states/regions to break away from the coming United Communist States of Amerika and form their own Republic. My great hope is that Oklahama and Texas(and another state or 2 ??) ban together and create a new State/Country based on the original US Constitution, close the southern border and support hard work instead of welfare class stupidty. Yeah, it's a dream and I suspect we will not be this lucky.

As for the election, as long as the main stream media keeps maintaining the lie that the race is effectively dead even and it's up to just a few key battleground states(Ohio, Florida, etc.), that is a guarantee that Obama will win re-election. I'll put on my Conspiracy Theory hat here and state that the George Soros - SCYTL connection/buyout will guarantee the Obama win through electronic vote counting fraud.

If the main stream media ever gets off the lie that it's "too close to call" and tells us that Romney is going to win, then you can be guaranteed the powers that be have flushed Obama down the toilet and it will be a Romney win. I'm curious to see if they can maintain the "too close to call" lie all the way to November. They are doing a real good job so far. At this point I suspect Obama will win re-election via electronic vote counting fraud. All he has to do is steal Ohio and/or Florida.
