Stephen A. Smith rant should concern the Dems as attitudes maybe changing on the left. I believe that just because your a citizen your not really entitled to other peoples money either, our politicians got us here trying to give free money for votes IMO.
Bring back industrial arts in high school and beef up votec’s. The trades are paying well, everyone needs to work that can. We have plenty of state and federal jobs that could be assigned to the unemployed for their checks if they don’t want training. There’s plenty of jobs picking up litter, clearks, or even cleaning office buildings that may change the entitlement attitudes if they were forced to work. Many jobs in child car and transportation until people can get on their feet.
Laziness isn’t a problem for society, it’s an individual’s issue. You reap what you sow as they say. Some people are happy being minimalist which is fine as long as others aren’t paying for your lifestyle.
The handicap or very old are the ones needing help more than the young that made poor choices.
