Upcoming Systema (Russian Martial Art) Seminar with Martin Wheeler

Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to share with the OKShooters group that Martin Wheeler will be coming to OKC for a weekend of training on November 12-13. It will primarily focus on open-hand and knife defense. Should be a great weekend, no prior experience is necessary. Civies/LEO/MIL, everyone is invited.

to elaborate so people don't think i'm trolling: that all looks kinda neat when it's done in slow motion, but it's really not practical. note how you don't see him applying that in full-speed, fully-resistive grappling. you get three guesses as to why.

the standup fighting is similarly bad but the groundfighting is worse.

I am just wondering how you are able to teach those types of ground moves?

I found some full speed videos of his and also some of him doing other martial arts on YouTube. Pretty interesting.
