The MIL is selling her house and the dishwasher is kupput. Her stuff is black which makes it more difficult. If i had one that had a black control panel and another color front,I could paint it though.

There are several on craigslist if you strike out here.
I'd try Craigslist or google search for used appliance store nearby. Without knowing a lot of the variables you might want to double check to see if it is worth the effort. I'd even look at buying new, probably pick one up at lowes for $250 or less
