OK, since I see a lot of "use UPS, USPS stinks" posts quite a bit, check out these scans on a UPS "2 day air" package that has a pistol I purchased on gunbroker. Maybe they should rename the product, 4 days maybe. Yes, they have great, real time scanning, like the one showing it sat going nowhere for almost 27 hours in Louisville, KY. Maybe it will make it on day 4 if the plane flies from Dallas tonight.

If you've ever been to louisville you would see why it sat there. That's where the ups airborn is based. I've never seen so many brown plans in my life.

yeah, USPS has hubs too but 27 hours seems a bit long, maybe they don't fly on Sundays, I get it, just anxious to get my new pistola.

Whats the problem? weekends don't count as days of service... you should get it Tuesday.. pretty simple..

and here's another thing... the shipper can get in trouble with shipping a hand gun 2 day air.. UPS policy is

I see, UPS doesn't count weekends as days of service. Interesting, you would have thought the world came to an end, when USPS announced they were seeking an end to Saturday delivery. Interesting. So I guess "next day air" would have only been 3 total days. Pretty simple. When it absolutely, positively has to be there, as long as it's not the weekend. :) I'm just messing with the USPS haters out there, UPS is ok, for a weekday operation.
