That’s definitely Lindsey in Norman. Why they’d go that way, I have no idea.On Lindsey Street? Is that in Norman? If so, why would they go through Norman?
You take specific routes with oversize permit loads. Probably routed around a narrow road construction or low bridge. You would have to know the year it was hauled and the starting point. Could have come in on hwy 9 from the east to a back gate at Tinker. That’s definitely Lindsey in Norman. Why they’d go that way, I have no idea.
ETA: It’s driving northbound on 12th Ave SE, which becomes Sooner Road once you leave Norman. I’m not sure why they’d be going up that road instead of taking I-35, though.
The beginning portion is on the Tinker repair facility and later portions cover other military equipment, notably the Warthog and a recovery vehicle.
I have to wonder if anyone in the Tinker part are known to or are OSA members.
I was thinking FT. Polk, but they ain't near sweaty enough, no mosquitoes. That last section had to have been at Ft. Sill. Tinker doesn't do any vehicle recover stuff.
Well, Tinker will be one of the depots doing the massive upgrade program on the B-52s. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the AF is bringing in some of the more recent generations of the BUF from the Boneyard to start on, so they don't reduce the operational numbers of the 52s during upgrades.
