So I just found this thread somehow, and it may take me a while to get through 5 years of posts but I'm going to try...for now, here's one of mine, with more to come...probably my favorite Smith I own so far, my 4" 57 no dash View attachment 248592View attachment 248593
I had a chance a few months ago to buy a gun exactly like that one and regretfully passed.:smack:

My only legitimate reason was not wanting to have to start loading for another caliber. :anyone:

Not in Oklahoma!
@retrieverman
I had a early 4" model 29!

It was a beater and I sold it to a friend I worked with! Thinking I did not need another 44! Lol

Been regretting it for a long while now!

@Okieyote
That 4" 25-5 is extra special! 👍

@clintbailey
For the last few years I been thinking a 4" model 657 would be nice on my hip around the farm!

I have the 6" 57, but it just does not have daily carry appeal!

Bought the 57 used and it took me 19 years before I finally sent some lead through it!

Good luck finding a 4 inch 657. I don't recall S&W even cataloging those. Only the 6 incher.
