So I am fixing to start a walking to running routine so Fatboy Joe won't be so Fatboy anymore, and I am looking for a good nylon/polyester belt. I carry a Ruger LCR .357 and have various holsters with various types of retentions. My question is, do you think a 1, 1 1/2 or 2 inch belt would be better? It would not be rubbing skin because I always wear undershirts.

Not related to a belt, but I have been working out hard for about six months but haven't last the weight I thought I should have. I just recently started using myfitnesspal.com to help me track my diet and exercise, in a week it has already helped me get a better idea what I am eating. I would highly suggest it.

On the back pack, I just wasn't sure how much it would hold up to the sweat...Shoot Summ, I have learned over the years, quite a few trips to a dietitian that losing weight is a math game. Eat less calories than you burn, but not by to much. It all goes into calculating your BMR. I think I am good on the understanding of that part, just want to bring some fitness into it.

Blackhawk's CQB Riggers belt if you're looking for just a belt. Not sure what you are wearing jogging if a belt is what you are looking for. To walk in, shorts with a belt is prob fine.

I have a good leather carry belt, or just front pocket carry. I just don't want to wear the leather due to the amount of sweat I produce or have it in the front of my athletic shorts banging the crap out of my leg when I jog/run/walk. So I was thinking of something like a duty belt just to wear for nothing other than carrying. A fanny pack or a backpack may be the best option.
