There is / was suppose to be a lot more items coming to the stores.. such as 20-30 rd AR magazines, halographic sights and other items.. but the Colorado theater shooting and a few other shootings since then has put them on hold for a while due to political reasons and not wanting bad press. I'm still getting info from some of the DM's offices and store management that Walmart plans on selling handguns in some open carry states at some time in the future. It is a matter of deciding on secure display cases-- they don't want any smash & grabs, where the Bad guy then dashes out the emergency exit with a few handguns... and seeing how the election turns out. They are worried about if Obama gets re-elected, how much crap are they going to have to deal with from the Justice Dept. & the ATF. Plans were to offer S&W, Ruger & Sig handguns.
