Yes they are cold water diving gloves. I fished today and got to try them out. They are way better than my other gloves. My hands would have froze off today but didn't with the new gloves. My hands sweat but they never froze. Got slightly cold a couple of times but a little activity and it was all good again. I was outside for around 6 hours fishing, handling wet fish, getting gloves wet occassionally washing off fish slime in 48 degree water after catching a fish, 20 of them. I'm well pleased with these gloves and even though my hands got sweaty, they were warm enough I could enjoy my whole day fishing. One complaint was easily snagged, but thats my fault. Also the temperature was only in the middle 30's to around 40 with a slight breeze. Wet hands with cold air makes for a miserable day.
