Reminds me of the local JUCO that had a beaver for a mascot.

It seems the girls cheerleading squad was performing up on a flatbed trailer for some celebration. The announcer introduced them as the Pratt Community Junior College Cheerleaders performing and if you look really close, you might even see a beaver.

Up here in the Panhandle we have Beaver, OK. Their school team is called “The Beaver Dusters!”.

Saw a lot of them growing up in Arkansas. Some years they were so bad that we had to trap them to preserve our irrigation levees. Back in the 50s, you could sell the hides for a few bucks.
