The idea of living in a converted warehouse has always captured a bit of my attention. Being close to and living within an area where you can get to most anything by walking. Parking your car / truck inside the warehouse even, perhaps dedicating the whole lower section to garage and work space. The bricks, beams and industrial look offset by furnishings, rugs and decoration inside. It's not for everyone and it might not even be for me, but I'm just curious... If I worked downtown, I'd consider it more strongly.

What say you guys? Any thoughts, experiences, idea, know someone doing it, have any leads on good property, etc... ?

It's a nifty idea, but I'd be concerned about several things - including security, HVAC bills, and yes, the lack of property on which to do stuff like shoot, play with the dogs, etc. You'd have to have a city slicker frame of mind to like that kind of living.

If I was single and had the money, I'd do it in a heartbeat ... Some place far, far away from Oklahoma though ... Upper East Coast, most likely ...
