I saw something on Outdoor Oklahoma about how they stagger the splits during the season to make sure the ducks can have a window to migrate or something?
Didn't follow it too closely, so I may not have heard that correctly.
That segment that was on today is on youtube if anybody wants to search for it.

Looks like all four KS seasons have splits, some longer than others. Waterfowl regs are about like trapping regs.........1001 chances to do it wrong.

Don, we had 4 fly off and go down after being hit pretty hard. Had a couple gun malfunctions that resulted in one of us not being able to shoot a couple times. We should have at 20 or so. All in all a great hunt!
