Surefire, the extra money is worth it

The surefire is a better light; however the activation is better in the TLR-1 unless you're using the DG switch

I borrowed both of them, and i would flip them on in the morning to see how they lit up the room. Both of them just killed my night eyes.

I got some cheap-o yellow light and it was awesome. It was in my range bag and got crushed in a tailgate though.

I use the Surefire X400....expensive? Yes. Great light/laser? Yes. I'd go with the Surefire.

I don't like the mounting or switch on the X300. I'd get a TLR-1s. I have an x300 ultra and it is too bright for indoors. Once it's off you're blind for a few seconds. A laser on a pistol with a white light is dumb IMO. You can just use the hot spot for aiming.
