No one has answered that one yet......I know money isn't an issue with the OP....I know him. I just want to know if it is $100 better....You can buy extra mags, sling, etc with the money you save. I haven't seen anyone post why it's better.......

I don't think it is better. Definitely not $100 better. I have an have used both.

I have both and prefer the Surefire, but both of my X300's have the DG switch mounted. I will say this, my Colt Rail Gun doesn't like the Surefire mount. It will not lock down tightly on the CRG. I have TLR1's on my Browning Buckmark and CRG and have no issues with them. I don't think you'll be disappointed with either one, but if you plan to run a pressure switch, I think the X300 is the way to go.
