I can't figure out if you're joking or just mistaken. Peter Jackson did LoTR. Kevin Smith made Clerks., Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl, Clerks II, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Cop Out(just directed, didn't write), and now Red State.
