Extremely Short Notice

The family of 2LT. Jered Wayne Ewy has asked the PGR to provide an escort from the ANG at Will Rogers Airport, Oklahoma City to the funeral home in Edmond, Ok , 07 August 2011 and stand a Flagline at his services to be held on 11 August 2011, Edmond, Ok.



2LT. Jered W. Ewy, 33, of Edmond, Okla. And SPC Augustus J. Vicari, 22 of Broken Arrow, Okla died July 29 at Paktia, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device. They were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma Army National Guard, Tulsa, Okla.

Part I:

Provide escort from the airport to the Crawford family funeral home in Edmond, Ok.

Staging: 1100 at Sammie’s Conoco, at the corner of SW29th and Meridian, Oklahoma City

Briefing: 1115

KSU: 1130

We will leave Sammie’s Conoco at 1130 proceeding to the ANG Gate at 5901 Air Guard Drive where we will wait for the vehicles to pickup 2LT Ewy. We will join the escort behind the family cars, proceed approximately 24 miles to the Funeral home and form a flag line at the Funeral home.

Weather: 20% chance of thunderstorms with a high of 108. Dress accordingly and Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

i watched a documentary on WBC and just keep one thing in mind (i am in NO WAY defending anything they do), but the people that are really "wrong" don't come to these protests, unfortunetly the children and some brainwashed women do.. it actually made me "compassionate" towards some of the children, as i watched a 7 year old get hit in the face with a cup, and all the children staring at their mom as drivers told her to F off. They are similar to Islamic groups where people like bin laden sends everyone else to do all the dirty work, while he sits at a nice compound and does nothing!! But some of these "protesters" are innocent kids...
