I got a pressure canner on loan for the year! My MIL only uses it to can deer, so I've got a year to play & figure the thing out. So excited!

Been cutting trees and stacking firewood. Had a large, dead oak and decided to have some fun. Took the chainsaw and made a deep horizontal cut. Put a pound of tannerite in the cut. Placed a pound jar over the cut and adhered it to the trunk with duct tape. To quote my 2yo grandson, "tree, BOOOOOOOOOM".

I bought more canned B&M Brown Bread with raisins - good through 2016.
Bought some canned tuna and table salt.
I bought fence parts for my new garden. Soon, that corner of my yard will be rabbit proof.
