I really do think it's a combination of me eating Excedrine Migraines like M&Ms and eating like an inner city teenager. I'll slow down on the EMs and get back on the Lion Diet this week.

This getting old **** is for the birds. Haha! Poor body is like "ENOUGH ALREADY!" 🤣

Tylenol (acetaminophen) is terrible for your liver.

I used to take Excedrin on a pretty regular basis. Dr was constantly watching my liver numbers. Never bad enough to actually prescribe treatment.

I changed jobs, headaches disappeared and threw the Excedrin out. Have taken nothing but aspirin since and very limited basis, at that.

Liver numbers are perfect and Dr says it was the Acetaminophen.

I'm not a Dr, just my experience. Talk to Dr for sure.

I have had elevated liver enzyme for 51 yrs. Its really nothing and hasn't change for the better or worse most of my life. It will be the only thing in my blood work that is a little off normal. Drank like a fish for years and it never went up or down. Now after around 10 yrs of zero alcohol its still the same as ever. I used to worry about it but Im pretty healthy for a Old Fart and thinks its just a part of my DNA.

My son had debilitating migraine’s and took massive amounts of Tylenol (I heard)- he was hospitalized and the Docs told him the most he had was two years left. He passed a way that evening-liver burned up and failed.
I have the fatty liver problem and I need to loose about 20# myself. Alcohol will drive up the liver enzymes but i don’t drink.

My ALT is 45 (normal 15-41) and my ALT is 70 (normal 15-63). That will vary dependent upon lab values but my Doc is sending me to a liver specialist. That Gurl, if you have enzymes as high as you posted, perhaps you need to see a gastro guy.

The Tylenol definitely ain't good. Years ago I was having gall bladder problems and had some poor liver numbers. I started taking milk thistle, and the numbers improved. The doc I was seeing at the time was familiar with milk thistle, and while he said he didn't know how much it might help, it's cheap and it won't hurt you. Mine got better, and nearly 20 years later I still have my gall bladder.

I have a couple of friends that are moderate to heavy drinkers. They use it and it turned their liver numbers around. Neither of them have quit drinking or even slowed down much.

I'm so sorry about your son.

I've seen 2 gastros. They both told me that I was fine and to "just eat smaller bites". The second one sent me a letter saying she could no longer treat me because I used profanity in her office. Like I was gonna go back ... 🙄🙄🙄 ******* bitch.

My bestie has turned me on to milk thistle, dandelion root (which I have but haven't drank in a while) and a liver support mixture ... I'll remember the name of it in a minute. 🤦

I did some math and was shocked to see how much acetaminophen I had been taking. That's on me. I know better than that ****, just lost sight of it because I've been trying to pretend I'm not hurt and working pretty hard in the garden.

There are just so many things I want to do. And on my good days I can. But then the bad days pop up and I lose ground and have to start all over. Hopefully, by focusing on perennials, I can keep making forward progress and stop all the back and forth ****.
