I was recently gifted a Streamlight Macro. It is rechargeable by USB and has a high and low mode via double tap tail button. High mode being 500 lumens and low mode being 50 lumens. It’s a pretty nice flashlight and super easy to carry.
Jeebus....I feel like there should be some kind of nat'l park service for you sir. Perhaps a 21 gun salute with M14's and bayonets.
If it doesn't take at least two D cells it ain't no flashlight!

I Carried a Fenix LD22 for well over 5 years until it ran off.
Been carrying a Streamlight ProTac2LX for about 5 years and it get used 5 days a week at work and I carry a spare battery also. That is a fraction of the crap I carry daily in my pockets.
I carry 4 flashlights in my backpack. 1 is a work backup and the others are 2 is 1 and 1 is none backup!
My backpack is pretty heavy but it carries a bunch of stuff if needed.

Sent it in with 3 other streamlights a week ago for warranty.
