Ive had 2 cops tell me I was transporting my gun illegally when I had it in my passengers seat with the loaded mag and ejected round next to it. Once in Perkins and once in Yukon. I corrected them on the law... both times they stuck to their guns and insisted the ammo has to be stored separately, but neither one was certain enough to arrest me on it. They just let me go and said to double check that law. Hopefully they both checked it themselves or asked their DA or something.
