Yep kill all you see. And wasp spray takes a very long time to do any damage to them. They aren't fast or timid, it's easy to smoosh them with something.
My dad got stung/bit by one several years ago and it took over 3 months for it to heal completely.
He said it burned like no wasp sting he has ever had.

I’ve always understood them to be “good bugs” and leave them be. Creepy looking sum-batches though
