Srsly?!?!? Grumpy gets it every time we go out -- couple times a month. He LOVES that stuff. I need to find a copy-cat recipe for that meatloaf.

Great day for me so far. Saw a TON of folks in the office this morning, bailed like my @$$ was on fire and loading up the truck to head out camping.

Ok ... I FINALLY fell asleep. Shift change. So they came and woke me up to introduce me to the nurse taking over. Why??

When my wife was in ICU several years ago, I was of course with her almost 24/7. I couldn't believe the traffic in and out of that room.
I have no idea how anyone in hospital gets any rest.

And ICU is no place for someone to be alone.

I had a notebook, and wrote down everyone that came in the room, the time, and the reason.

They came in, I'd ask 'who are you, what are you planning to do, and who ordered it?'.

My dad was in ICU for a couple of weeks before he died (2009) and my step-mother did the same. She has a journal of every doc, nurse, etc., and every med that was given. It's a very depressing place to sit and watch.
