Critical when judging the ripeness of melons.
Can't feel the firmness. So not to critical.

I prefer the smell test. Just have to get in there close and smell them.
Cooking some Asian, TexMex, cajun, southern comfort foods we use alot of spices. We dont buy beef much anymore, love Shrimp, treat ourselves when we find good quality. Quit buying ham and bacon as much.

A friend in Texas picked up some Everclear today, less than $20 for one liter bottles. Sounded pretty cheap to me.

Heard from a friend yesterday who runs a dog daycare and border place. Purina products are getting fewer and fewer on store shelves. I typically buy the Purina One Lamb and Rice for my dogs, but finding it in stock is increasingly difficult.
