I know for a fact bobcat and a domestic can cross breed. I had two of them at one time. The male was about 45lbs and the female about 30lbs. The male had the bob tail, squarish head, long teeth and claws, the female had the more domestic cat features of a long tail and sharper head. I took the male and named him Dameon and the female was my moms and she named her kamikaze.
They could both flat foot jump from the floor to the top of a 7 foot tall book case, and preferred a large meat diet to cat food.
I will have to see if I can find the pictures I have of my Dameon wrestling with a 1yo black lab, they are the same size LOL. Plus he acted more like a dog than anything and he is the ONLY cat I have ever met who I liked and i wasnt allergic to him or his sister. Regular domestic cats make me sneeze, my eyes swell shut and itch like crazy.
