Sold a couple (thanks to OSA and Armslist) and now debating the replacements.

Sold XDS45 and XD45 tactical

Reasons:
Momma doesn't like the recoil that the 45s bring, and I had two long slide 45s!

Factors in the new purchases:
Likely hers will be a 9mm to reduce the recoil and at the same time keep enough punch to keep it effective.

She doesn't have that much arm strength so the slide has to "rack" fairly easy.

Toying with the idea to get her (not in any specific order):
XDS9 4" barrell,
Glock 19

Thoughts?

I would highly recommend the S&W M&P for her 9mm, great ergonomics, reliability, accuracy and easy to rack the slide. There's the long slides, standard length, compact and Shield so a size for anyone. I have an M&P40 and I love these guns.

I prefer the .45acp myself but the 9mm is very capable with modern ammo.

HK VP-9. New striker fired pistol from HK with as good if not better (depending on preference) trigger as the Walther PPQ. Great thing is msrp is only $700, so that brings it to the $640 range.
